The assembly this weekend was amazing! Well the parts I got outta it haha. I can't wait to go to the English one day! :) The assembly hall was very very beautiful! Jehovah really does make some wonderful things for his people!

James Bond

If you guys have ever seen James Bond then you will recognize this for sure!

 

 

 

These are the wires that hold up the done, each one is about 2,000 pounds!! Wouldn't want one of these to fall on!

 

The tower holding the wire stands more than 600 feet high!

The Mangroves tour :)

This is a salt mangrove- See all those things sticking outta the water? Those are the roots to the plant. That is how they get there nutrients and they stick out of the water so the plant can breath. If you were to lick one of the leave(and yes I did) they taste like salt! Hence the name.

This next man grove is called a red mangrove. I am sure you can tell why it is called this as you can see the water under the plant. Its red!! There vines as you can also see grow into the water, since thats where they get there nutrient's. If you were to clean the water it would taste like salt.

 

 

They asked for a volunteer and guess who got volunteered!!!

After that we got to go to the beach in the national park(where the man groves are.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After we went to a light house that was made way back when(can't remember when), It also had all of the original wood and such.

El Yunque(The rain forest)

I am back!!!! I am exhausted, but it was an amazing weekend, one I will never forget. We did so many things it would take forever to explain it all so I will just show you A LOOOOT of pictures, since a picture says a thousand words ;) Don't worry though I will put some info on it. I will say though that this weekend I became closer with some of the friends and am now there adopted child :D Yaaaaaaaaaay more family!!

Okay so this is what we did on Friday- We went to the rain forest and then took a tour through the mangroves that grow throughout the Islands.

AHHHHH I found a swing! Just had to be careful... there was a cliff behind it. Wouldn't wanna fall thas for sure!
