When it rains it pours!!!

Today we made our way down to the ferry so that we could go to Colabra(I think I spelled it wrong, still working on Spanish names/towns)and on our way I meant my grandparents taxi driver(Hernan sounds like ernon, but roll the "R".) He was so nice and was helping us out alot! My grandma and I were asking him how to say things in Spanish and he was giving us Spanish lessons as we drove to the ferry( hour and 30 min drive.) So far I have learned how to say the basics like excuse me, how are you, please, thank you, coffee, small(don't know why I learned that one) aaaaaand I've had to learn how to order in Spanish because EEEEEVVVVERYTHING is in Spanish!! Thankfully I know what chicken is in Spanish so I stick with that, haha.
Anyway once we got to the ferry it started to rain and it wasn't a light rain!!!! Thankfully we were under the shelter buying tickets. What surprised me though was everyone had umbrellas like it was normal! Oh well guess that is an investment I will be making soon lol.
The island here is beautiful!! Although some parts are very dumpy because the people just through trash everywhere. So it's sad to see Jehovah's beautiful creation being destroyed. Oh and its sooooooo hot! I thought my grandparents were kidding when they were telling me how hot it gets here, but I quickly learned it was all true!!!!! As long as you stay sitting down and don't move your fine, but the min you get up and start moving, well lets just say I hope you have deodorant on!!
Well that's all I can think of.......I will post some pictures of today and I guess I will wright again and let you know how meeting and service goes tomorrow :D Good night everyone!!

  1. It looks so beautiful! Even with the rain. Actually, I love big storms like that. But it just made everything humid. :p
